For me, he is a hidden angel as mom a seen angel. We sometimes only think or see that our mom is the only one who looks after us when we were kids. While dad, he just cares us when we get sick. He brought us to the hospital. He is the boss, the one who earns money, and spare his limited time to play with us.
But, have we ever thought what is actually in Dad's mind?
He is the one who feels guilty when we are ill because he cannot pay his attention to us 24 hours like mom does. For the sake of his family, he's willing to sacrify his body and soul in the name of happiness. From the deep of his heart, he always thinks about us 24/7. Never stop thinking. That's why sometimes he gets angry at us when his expectation to us is out of his mind. It doesn't mean he doesn't love you! The more he angry, the more he loves you actually.
When Dad feels so sad? The answer could be: when his daughters have to live with strangers (red; husband) in which they just know from outter look. Who takes his former little baby and build a new family like he does/did. "Can he take care of my cute girl like I did? Will he make my daughter happy?" That might be crossed his mind.
Everybody needs the figure of their Father. Don't hate him if he cannot be a good father for you. Everything must be a reason why. Let the time answers unless you cannot get it directly. Time will answers everything about your life.
For you who have a brilliant father, as long as they live, please!!! Do the best for him. Without Dad, there will never be a half of his genetics in our body. No way! There will never be a word "Dad" of a "father" as we recognize it. Do as many positive things as you can for him. Before you regret in a life time.
From now on, don't hesitate to say "I Love You, Dad".
